The #TrumpShutdown is the latest attempt to force construction of an unjust and environmentally damaging border wall. 2019 is going to be pivotal year in the resistance.

With new congressional leadership from California in Washington D.C. and increased attacks on our future, we need your help to get ready.

We’ve got incredible momentum after the November election cycle, but we need to keep fighting. With your membership, we can continue to elect environmental champions to fight for us in D.C. and Sacramento, we can pass bold policies to protect nature and our most vulnerable communities, and we can ensure climate change is a focus nationally.

The best thing you can do to respond to this threat right now is renew your membership for 2019 to sustain our movement. If Trump’s government shutdown over the border wall is not dangerous enough, this week he also threatened to pause federal wildfire prevention funding that could save the homes of tens of thousands of Californians. We need you now.

If we keep fighting, together we will win.

Thank you for stepping up today and joining us in this fight.
